Before you turn on your Air Conditioner:

-If you've got a cover on it, remove it. 
-Check around unit to make sure any debris is removed and any shrubs or other plants are at least 12" away for good air flow.
-Use a garden hose to spray the coil to clean it for the season.
-If you shut off the breaker and/or disconnect switch, turn it on.
-MOST OF ALL, don't forget to change that air filter by the furnace.

Why you should skip the BIG BOX stores: 

Big Box stores offer lower priced items because they sell cheaper product. Many companies offer low end versions of their products at Big Box stores. Buying a good quality product will save you time & money in the long run.  

Case-in-point:
One of our clients had a kitchen faucet break. They wanted to save money, so they went to a Big Box store and got a replacement. They have since replaced that same faucet 3 times. They admitted to us, they would've saved money, and saved time, buying a good quality product from one of our suppliers like we'd suggested.

This is a time-lapse video for installation of a Geothermal heating and cooling system.  First, there is a lot of digging! We moved approx. 64,000 cubic feet of dirt and rock. Next is installation of the tubing, which is the best part!  And finally, it’s covered over with dirt.  Lower carbon footprint, and eco-friendly. Say hello to reduce heating and cooling bill!
